What files do we actually receive?

Accepted Answer

Editable sources — Illustrator or Figma for the marks, InDesign for print layouts — plus exports organised by where they are used: SVG and optimised PNG for web, EPS and PDF/X for the printer, and correctly sized PNG or JPG for marketplaces and social profiles. Font names and licence status are listed so you know what you own and what you rent.

Question 2

Do we own the artwork and the source files?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on final payment, including the working files rather than flattened exports. We do not keep source files as leverage, and we will hand them to another studio on your instruction without friction. Third-party assets we did not create — licensed fonts and stock images — stay under their own licences, which we identify in writing so you can renew or replace them.

Question 3

How many concepts and revision rounds are included?

Accepted Answer

Two or three distinct directions, then two structured revision rounds on the chosen one, with each stage signed off before the next begins. Presenting more directions sounds generous but usually means the brief was not settled, and it makes the decision harder rather than easier. Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted before we start it.

Question 4

How long does a graphic design project take?

Accepted Answer

A logo suite with basic rules is typically two to three weeks; a full identity kit with print artwork and templates runs three to six weeks. Packaging takes longer because dielines, printer specifications and a physical proof all have to come back before anything is final. Your feedback speed is usually the largest variable, not our production time.

Can you work with our existing brand instead of replacing it?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and that is often the better route. A common brief is a brand with a recognisable mark but no rules, no source file and inconsistent application across channels — that is a cleanup and systemisation job, not a redesign. If the mark itself needs rebuilding we will say so and explain what is technically wrong with it, such as size failure or unusable file formats.

Question 6

Do you handle print production, or just supply the files?

Accepted Answer

Both are possible. We prepare artwork to your printer's specification, review their proof and answer their prepress questions, which removes most of the back and forth. We do not own a press, so on larger runs we work with your printer or one you choose, and we recommend seeing a physical proof before a full production run.

Question 7

Why does our logo look different in print from on screen?

Accepted Answer

Screens emit light and use RGB; print mixes ink and uses CMYK, and a bright screen colour can simply be outside what four-colour printing reproduces. That is why we specify each brand colour in RGB, in a CMYK build and with a Pantone reference for spot printing, and why we test a mark in single colour early. Paper matters too: the same ink looks different on uncoated stock than on coated.

Can our own team edit the designs afterwards?

Accepted Answer

That is the intention. Alongside the source files we build templates in the tools your team already uses so a weekly social post, a price list or a new deck slide can be produced in-house without a designer. Editable layers are locked only where the brand would break — logo geometry, clear space, colour values — and everything else is deliberately left open.

Question 9

Do you design packaging and labels?

Yes, working from your printer's dieline and specification: panel layout, mandatory information, barcode placement, finish choices and how the design survives folding and shelf lighting. Food and retail packaging in particular carries legal information that must sit in fixed positions, so we treat that as a layout constraint from the start rather than a late correction.

Do we have to buy fonts?

Accepted Answer

Sometimes. We can build the system on well-supported open-source families, which costs nothing and covers web, print and Office use, or on a licensed commercial family if the brand needs a more distinctive voice. Either way we tell you the licence type, the cost and what it covers before it is chosen, because font licences are the most common hidden cost in identity work.

Can you set Arabic, Urdu or other right-to-left layouts?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and it is a genuine craft area for us: we design and maintain our own five-language brand system with Arabic and Urdu RTL. A Latin logo does not simply flip for Arabic — it needs a script-appropriate typeface, a bilingual lockup designed as its own composition, and layouts mirrored deliberately, including alignment, icons and numerals. We produce both directions as one system so they stay recognisably the same brand.

Do you do animated versions of the brand too?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but as separate craft. This service covers static design — logo suite, print, packaging, social and presentation templates — while animated logos, explainers and social animations sit under our Motion Graphics service, which takes the finished artwork and gives it movement, timing and sound. Building the static system first is what keeps the animation on-brand rather than improvised.
