We interview the people who actually sell — founder, sales, support — and collect what customers say in their own words from enquiries, reviews and chat threads. The gap between how you describe yourself internally and how buyers describe you is usually where the real strategy work begins.

We study the three to five companies you genuinely lose deals to, not the aspirational ones, recording what each claims, how it prices and how it looks in the channels your buyers use. Plotted on one map, it becomes obvious which positions are crowded and which are open enough to defend.

We define who the brand is for in commercial terms: who signs, who influences, what triggers the search and which objection kills the deal. Each segment gets its own message hierarchy, because the argument that convinces a procurement lead rarely convinces a founder.

We write a positioning statement narrow enough that a competitor could disagree with it, backed by proof you can actually show rather than adjectives. Where naming is in scope we produce shortlists with domain and handle availability checked, plus meaning and pronunciation screened in every market you sell to.

Tone is documented as examples: the same sentence in your voice and in three voices you are not, with vocabulary you use, words you avoid and how the register shifts per language. The messaging framework converts positioning into headlines, boilerplate and channel-ready copy your team can reuse.

Everything condenses into a guideline short enough to be read — typically ten to twenty pages, not eighty — with the rules a freelancer or printer needs on the first spread. We then sequence the rollout across web, print and social so recognition survives the switch instead of fragmenting across channels.
