We start with the question your business actually rests on — will these people pay for this, will they come back, can this be delivered at a workable cost — and write it down in one sentence. Everything in the build is then judged against whether it helps you answer that sentence, which is what keeps a first version from quietly becoming a full product.

We produce two lists: what v1 contains and, more importantly, what it deliberately leaves out — admin panels, role systems, multi-language, native apps, integrations you can do by hand for the first fifty customers. The cut list is written down and agreed, so later feature requests are a conscious decision with a price rather than silent scope creep.

Before production code, you get clickable screens for the core flow, because it is far cheaper to argue about a screen than about a shipped feature. The stack choice follows the same logic: Next.js, PostgreSQL and managed hosting are chosen precisely because they are unremarkable, well documented and easy for a future employee to pick up.

The repository, the database, the hosting and the domain are created under your organisation and billing from the first commit, with us added as collaborators. This is deliberate: it removes the single most common trap founders describe, where the product works but the agency holds the keys and every change has to go through them.

We ship to real users with the events that matter already instrumented — signup, activation, the one action that means the product worked, and where people drop out. That gives you evidence for the next decision and for investor conversations, instead of an anecdote about how a few friends liked the demo.

Every engagement ends with a written handover: architecture notes, environment variables, deployment steps and the known rough edges we would fix next. From there you can keep us on a small maintenance arrangement, take it in-house with hiring support, or continue on the deeper build described on our Startup MVP Development page while a fractional Technical CTO stays involved.
