A free scoping call turns a broad worry into a decision with a deadline and an owner — which stack, which vendor, rewrite or refactor, hire or outsource. We write the question down and agree what a useful answer looks like before any billable work starts.

We read the codebase, the infrastructure bill, the deployment process and the ticket backlog, and we interview the developers and the operations staff who use the system daily. The gap between how a system is documented and how it actually behaves is usually where the real answer lives.

Each realistic option gets costed on the same terms: build effort, licence and hosting cost, hiring difficulty, migration risk, and what it costs to reverse the decision later. Doing nothing is always included as an option, because sometimes it wins.

You receive a recommendation document with the chosen option, the options rejected and why, architecture diagrams, and short decision records in the format engineers use. It is written to be handed to a developer who has never met us and still make sense in two years.

We present the findings to your team and to whoever holds the budget, and we invite the hardest objections rather than avoiding them. If someone in the room knows a constraint we missed, the recommendation gets corrected before you act on it.

If you want us to build it, we quote the work separately so the advice is never a sales funnel in disguise. If you build it in-house or with another supplier, we can stay on as a light review layer at key milestones.
