What is the minimum monthly budget for LinkedIn Ads?

LinkedIn enforces a small daily minimum per campaign, but that floor is not a working budget. A campaign needs enough clicks each month to produce a readable number of leads, and with clicks frequently costing several euros or more that usually means a four-figure monthly media budget before management fees. We work the number out with you from your target cost per qualified lead and your deal value, and we will tell you plainly if LinkedIn is the wrong channel for your economics.

Why is LinkedIn so much more expensive than Meta or Google?

Because you are buying access to a verified professional identity — job title, seniority, employer, industry — against far less ad inventory than Facebook and Instagram carry between them. A LinkedIn click commonly costs several times a comparable Meta click, and that gap is structural rather than something an agency can optimise away. It is worth paying when one new customer is worth thousands over their lifetime, and a poor decision for low-value or impulse purchases.

Is the ad spend included in your fee?

No — media and management are always separate lines. The budget is charged directly by LinkedIn to your own payment method inside your own Campaign Manager account, and LinkedIn invoices you for it; we never collect it or add a percentage on top. Our fee covers strategy, tracking implementation, campaign build, creative direction, optimisation and reporting.

Who owns the Campaign Manager account, the page and the data?

You do. We work with delegated access inside your own Campaign Manager account and your own company page, so the ad account, Matched Audiences, Insight Tag history, lead records and page followers stay yours. If we stop working together we hand over documentation and remove our access, and nothing has to be rebuilt from scratch.

How long before we see results?

You will see impressions and clicks within days and the first leads usually inside two to four weeks. Pipeline and revenue take considerably longer, because B2B buying cycles run for months and the deal you care about closes long after the click that started it. We report leading indicators — cost per lead, lead quality feedback, meetings booked — from the first weeks so progress is visible before revenue moves.

Should we use Lead Gen Forms or send traffic to a landing page?

Lead Gen Forms pre-fill from the member's profile, so they nearly always produce more leads at a lower cost per lead — and frequently lower intent, because submitting one takes two taps. Landing pages ask more of the visitor and return fewer but better-qualified leads, plus a tracked website session that belongs to you. We usually run both against the same offer and let cost per qualified lead, judged by your sales team, settle the argument.

What organic reach can we realistically expect from our company page?

Modest, and it is better to plan for that than be disappointed by it. Company pages typically reach a small fraction of their followers per post, and the LinkedIn feed favours personal profiles and conversation over brand broadcasting. The page is still necessary — it is where an ad click lands and where buyers verify you are real — but treating it as a primary traffic source rarely ends well.

Does employee advocacy actually work?

It works better than the company page and it is the cheapest reach available on the platform. Posts from personal profiles reach more people and attract more comments, so a few employees posting consistently will out-reach the brand page without any media spend. It only works when it is voluntary — scripted posts pushed onto unwilling staff read exactly like scripted posts pushed onto unwilling staff.

How do you tell whether the leads are any good?

We connect form submissions to your CRM and follow them through to opportunity and closed deal, then judge campaigns on qualified pipeline rather than raw lead volume. Where a CRM integration is not available we agree a short weekly qualification review with your sales team instead. Optimising to cost per lead alone reliably produces a pile of cheap leads nobody wants to call.

Can you target specific companies by name?

Yes. Matched Audiences accepts uploaded company lists, and job function, seniority and skills can be layered on top of them, which makes genuine account-based campaigns possible in a way no other ad platform matches. Very small lists deliver poorly and price badly, so a list of at least a few hundred companies usually gives a campaign room to run.

Do we need LinkedIn Lead Generation or Company Page Management?

Most B2B accounts eventually need both, and this page is where we decide the balance for you. LinkedIn Lead Generation covers the paid demand-capture side: campaign build, Lead Gen Forms, audience testing and CRM routing. Company Page Management covers the always-on side — content cadence, page optimisation and employee advocacy — which lowers the load the paid budget has to carry.

What about Message Ads and InMail?

They exist and can work for high-value, narrowly targeted offers such as event invitations, but they are expensive per send and easy to get badly wrong. Availability and rules differ by region, and a poorly targeted message damages the brand it was meant to build. We only test them once feed campaigns, tracking and the offer itself are already working.
