Can we email a list we already have?

Accepted Answer

Only if you can show where each contact came from and that they agreed to receive commercial email. We audit the source before anything is sent, and if consent cannot be evidenced we run a re-permission campaign to the salvageable portion rather than mailing the whole file. Purchased or scraped lists are not something we will send to at any price — they destroy sender reputation and create real legal exposure.

Why are our emails landing in spam?

Accepted Answer

Usually a combination of missing or misaligned authentication, a sending domain with no reputation, and a list that includes people who never engaged. Mailbox providers weigh complaints, bounces, deletions without reading and engagement history far more heavily than subject-line wording. Fixing SPF, DKIM and DMARC alignment plus cleaning the list resolves the majority of cases we see.

What do the Gmail and Yahoo bulk-sender rules require?

Accepted Answer

Since February 2024, senders above roughly 5,000 messages a day to Gmail must authenticate with SPF and DKIM, publish a DMARC policy with alignment, provide one-click unsubscribe honoured within two days, and keep spam complaints below 0.3% — Google advises staying under 0.1%. Yahoo applies equivalent rules and Microsoft has since introduced comparable requirements for Outlook.com. We configure all of this as a baseline, not an upgrade.

How often should we send?

Accepted Answer

Frequency follows what you have to say and how engaged the segment is, not a fixed calendar. For most B2B senders every two to four weeks is sustainable; e-commerce can support weekly if there is genuine merchandising news. We would rather send less to an engaged segment than more to a list that is quietly complaining.

Question 5

What is İYS and do we have to register?

Accepted Answer

İYS (İleti Yönetim Sistemi) is Turkey's central registry for commercial electronic messages under Law 6563. Businesses sending commercial email or SMS to recipients in Turkey must be registered and must upload and maintain their consent and opt-out records there; consent is required for consumers, while registered traders can be contacted without prior consent but their opt-outs must still be honoured and recorded. Separately, KVKK governs how you process the underlying personal data.

What does GDPR require, and do we need double opt-in?

Accepted Answer

Under GDPR and ePrivacy you need a lawful basis and, in most cases, freely given consent that you can evidence — plus a clear unsubscribe in every message. Double opt-in is not universally mandated, but it is the practical standard in Germany and elsewhere because it produces the proof you need in a dispute. We set it up by default for EU-facing lists.

Do you design the templates?

Yes. We build a reusable template system in your brand, hand-coded or built in your platform's editor, and test rendering across Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, dark mode and mobile before launch. Every template ships with a plain-text alternative and a visible unsubscribe, and your team can produce campaigns from it without needing us.

Do we need a dedicated IP address?

Accepted Answer

Usually not. A dedicated IP starts with no reputation at all and needs consistent, sizeable volume to build one, so below that threshold a well-maintained shared pool at a reputable provider delivers better. We recommend a dedicated IP only when your volume and cadence genuinely justify a warm-up plan.

Are open rates still a useful metric?

Only as a rough trend. Apple's Mail Privacy Protection pre-loads tracking pixels, so a meaningful share of reported opens never involved a human, and other providers proxy images too. We optimise against clicks, conversions and revenue per recipient, and use opens only to compare like-for-like segments over time.

Question 10

What happens if we stop sending for a few months?

Sender reputation is built on recent behaviour, so a long gap effectively resets it and the first campaign back often performs badly or filters heavily. If you need to pause, we recommend keeping a low-volume send to your most engaged contacts, and if a gap has already happened we treat the restart as a warm-up rather than a normal campaign.

Question 11

Do we have to change our email platform?

Accepted Answer

Not unless it is the actual problem. We work with the mainstream campaign and transactional providers — Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Brevo, Amazon SES and similar — and we will tell you plainly if your current platform cannot support the segmentation or automation you need. Migration is a decision with a cost, so we only propose it when the case is clear.

Question 12

How long until email starts producing revenue?

Accepted Answer

Automations often contribute within the first month or two because they meet existing intent, while campaign performance improves gradually as reputation, segmentation and content settle over a quarter or more. If your list is small or unengaged, expect the first phase to be about list quality and consent rather than immediate revenue.
